International Students House (ISH) is a charity that believes every young person should have the opportunity to succeed, whatever their background. 

We provide accommodation if young people need a place to live while they study, scholarships and hardship funds to support their education and social activities to foster an international community. 

We are currently looking for a Receptionist to join our friendly team and provide a first-class service to residents at our accommodation in Marylebone.

The Role

As a Receptionist, you will provide a high-quality reception service to residents at our accommodation in Marylebone.

Your duties will include: 

- Responding to residents’ queries regarding bills, departure dates, vacation periods and room moves
- Completing resident check-ins and check-outs
- Managing the reception email inbox  
- Processing payments, billing and reports 
- Providing training for new staff

About You

To join us as a Receptionist, you’ll need: 

- Great communication skills 
- A professional telephone manner 
- Strong time-management abilities
- A positive attitude 

Previous customer service and/or hotel experience would be beneficial to your application.

The shift pattern for this role is six days on followed by three days off, on alternating weeks of early and late shifts (averaging a 34 hour working week). You will occasionally be required to work Bank Holidays (overtime or time off in lieu will be given).
